Well hello. I'm Julia, I'm a student and I live in Ontario. My little blog here is about my life and mainly my experiences with fitness and nutrition. I am interested in running, cycling and weightlifting as well as all sorts of outdoor-related fitness such as rock-climbing, triathlons and hiking. I'm not great at all of them but I do like doing them most of the time. I am a particularly big advocate of women doing weightlifting. I think strong is sexy, and NO you won't get too bulky by lifting weights.

For myself, I like to work out to gain muscle, and stay healthy. I am naturally a very lanky, lean person. It has always been difficult for me to gain muscle although it is pretty easy for me to gain or lose weight, depending on what I eat. I have to work out hard to have any muscle gains so that's what I like to do most when I go to the gym although I also like training for events like triathlons and long-distance runs but I don't typically keep that up year-round.

I am currently in my fourth year of university, obtaining my Honours BSc. in biology with a minor in nutrition and nutraceutical sciences. I am also finishing up my personal training certification. I really like food and exericise so this blog gives me the opportunity to talk about them both: a lot.
